Since 2015, SDA has expanded its work to do outreach for under-served populations who might have less access to art and cultural activities.   In 2016, SDA offered swing dance summer workshops for several children’s programs including the summer school at Immaculate Conception School in Astoria, Harlem Dance Institute, Soul Arts in East Village and  a group of home-schooled children and their families in Mt. Vernon, NY.

For elders, in the summer of 2015, SDA produced and performed a swing dance show at Dewitt Rehabilitation Facility in Manhattan with the support of Healing Arts Initiative.
